You’ve got your online cricket ID. Now what? Most beginners’ losses don’t come from bad luck in week one. They come from avoidable habits: betting every over, misreading odds, laying without checking liability, and topping up after a loss. This guide walks through your first week so those habits never start.

Day 1: set up before you bet
- Change your password from the temporary one, and use one you don’t use anywhere else.
- Write down a weekly budget, an amount you’d be fine spending on a night out. That is your bankroll.
- Decide on a unit of 1–2% of that bankroll. With ₹5,000 for the week, one unit is ₹50–₹100.
- Find your bet history in the panel menu. You’ll check it at the end of every day.
Day 2: learn to read the price
Exchange odds are decimal. Your stake × odds = your total return if the bet wins. Odds of 1.80 on ₹100 return ₹180, so ₹80 is profit. To see the chance the market is giving, divide 1 by the odds: 1.80 means about 56%. If you think the real chance is lower than that, the price isn’t worth taking. There’s a full walkthrough in how to read cricket betting odds.
Day 3: back, lay and liability
Backing means betting that something happens. Laying means betting that it won’t. When you lay, you put up the backer’s winnings, so your liability is stake × (odds − 1). Laying ₹500 at 3.00 means you could lose ₹1,000. Always read the liability figure on the bet slip before you confirm.
Day 4: pick one market and stick to it
Beginners do best with one market type for the whole first week. Match odds are the simplest. Session markets (runs by a set over) are popular but fast, and fancy markets are faster still. See what each one means on the 11xbet markets page before you try them.
Day 5: watch more than you bet
Choose one match and place at most two or three bets. Spend the rest of the match watching how the odds move after wickets, boundaries and the powerplay. That free lesson is worth more than any tip.
Day 6: payments and records
- Deposits and withdrawals should only go to and from your own account.
- Keep every payment screenshot until the money shows in your balance or your bank.
- Try one small withdrawal early. It tells you how the process works before you ever need it.
Day 7: review the week
Open your bet history and answer three questions. Did you stay within the budget? Which bets were planned, and which were impulse? Did you chase after a loss? The answers matter more than whether the week ended up or down.
The six mistakes we see most
| Mistake | Instead |
|---|---|
| Betting every over | Pick two or three moments per match. |
| Doubling the stake after a loss | Keep the same unit, or stop for the day. |
| Laying without checking liability | Read the liability line before you confirm. |
| Following “sure-shot” tipsters | Nobody sells a winning edge for ₹500. |
| Topping up mid-match | Deposit once per week, before the first match. |
| Betting to fix money problems | Stop and read our responsible gambling page. |
FAQ
How much should a beginner start with?
Only money you could lose without it affecting bills or savings. Many players start with a small weekly amount and keep it the same for the first month.
Which market is easiest for beginners?
Match odds. There is one question, who wins, and the price moves at a pace you can follow.
Should I use the app or the browser?
Either works with the same ID. The 11xplay APK is handy on Android, but the browser does everything too.
